There’s something kind of magical about balloons in photoshoots. It’s tricky to do without making it look too sugar sweet though. I love this Juergen Teller one of the old guy in bed on his birthday.

The other three are 1) Lula Scrapbook 2) Unknown 3) Tim Walker shoot in Vogue. 4) Natasha Poly by Alisdair Mclellan

I styled a shoot years ago with balloons and we had to dust flour over them all as they were too reflective with the flash. Pretty resourceful, total mess.

Miss Vogue has landed!

Being that I started my styling career in the teen market (Fashion Assistant, Just Seventeen - age 19)I have a soft spot for anything in the field of teen pop culture and fashion.

So I couldn’t wait to rip open the pages of our very own version of Teen Vogue (it’s basically the same mag) free with this months big Sister mag.

As expected there’s a colourful explosion of Cara, Henry & friends, Ora, crop tops, stripes, checks, tie dyes, small dogs, lipgloss and denim. Thanks CN you’ve made me feel adolescent for the morning.

Swiss smalls designer, Hanro have quite the iconic undies. Not only was Nicole Kidman casually lounging around in their 1601 vest in Eyes Wide Shut, above - but Marilyn was also wearing their white briefs when she ‘accidentally’ stepped on that subway grill as a train was going past.

I guess they make the kinda knickers that movie stars just want to show off…
